PHOTOS SCANNED TO DIGITAL FORMAT

Scanning your original photos means that you preserve them in digital format. You can then easily share the digital image with family and friends, post on Social Media, all without damage to the precious original. The digital scan can also be printed out in the same size or larger than the original.

Your pictures will be saved in the universal jpg format.

You have a choice of two different scanning resolution options:

1. 600dpi scan is typical for many users and ideal for printing copies . A scan at this resolution will result in a final printed picture size double that of the original photo. We can scan at any resolution you like, at no extra charge.
2. As a second option we can scan at any optical resolution that you like, this is especially useful if you have a 6 x 4 photo (for example) and want a picture 36 x 24. We will scan at the resolution required to get that final print size.

PHOTOGRAPHIC ENHANCEMENTS

We can also offer a service whereby we remove small blemishes, increase or decrease the exposure, lighting, contrast and colour as well as remove dust spots etc.
